Inviting the World To Launch Global Prosperity Movement

What We're Up To...

This blog is an invitation to 50 visionaries from around to unite in Austin, TX to face everything, avoid nothing and stand for prosperity for all in our lifetime. The 50 leaders selected will find common ground, form powerful alliances and be equipped with proven tools to inspire and activate lasting change in the world.

UPDATE: The June 10-15 event has been post-poned. Our partnership team is uniting that week in Austin to explore next steps. Stay tuned...

YOU are a visionary. You see things others don’t see. You have gifts the world needs. You have a passion in your heart, a fire in your eyes, and a burning desire to change the world.

We do, too. We see a world where everyone has everything they need to realize their hopes, dreams, and desires. We call this Prosperity for All. Our gifts are the tools and methods that transform our individual and collective ability to bring your visions fully into the world. And, we want you to have them! Your gift is your vision. Our gift is the tools you need to bring it into the world. It is a perfect fit.

Prosperity for All is a big vision that needs you and your vision to be successful. That’s where we come in. We know the visionary path can be challenging--extremely challenging. We know the doubts, fears, and inner struggles all too well. We know how hard it can be to stand confidently for our vision in the face of the judgments of others.

We also know how hard it is, even when we are fully equipped individually, to get others in the organization or community on board to take action on our vision. We know how powerless we can feel when we realize that other people have authority, resources, and expertise we need to bring our vision into the world with no way to gain their cooperation. And, we know you likely can’t bring your vision into the world without them.

If you want to join with others just like you to transform your ability to bring your vision into the world, we invite you to inquire into the VisionForce iStand Experience. Many leaders, entrepreneurs and visionaries have called thise 6-day transformative journey the “most powerful experience of my life.”

Inside this immersion experience, you will discover and use powerful tools to transform you and your community to create your vision of prosperity. If you are ready to face everything and avoid nothing to realize your vision, if you know “it’s time,” and want to join with others with the same motivations, come to Austin, TX for upcoming iStand Experiences, which could very well be the start of a global movement.

A Clarion Call to Build a New Community Order

Personal perspective of Michael Richards, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

This is a call to build a new community order.  A new world order will rise up from the grassroots as we organize sustainable communities at the local level.  We will then build networks of communicatioin and connection to build  the emerging planetary culture.   For one hundred years, the human race has been calling for change.  In our current situation, Obama may use the word “change” as an empty political slogan, but neither he nor any other present leader is presenting options for real systemic change.  All of our present “leaders” are selling some lame version of the status quo that can no longer work.  Our present “leaders” are all asleep at the wheel, heading down a one way road to oblivion.   Have the courage to face the fact that we have no leaders at present.

When there are no leaders in sight, it is time to step forward and lead.  A new leader must offer a “new covenant”… a new perception, a way to renew society with methods that work in the real world.

The problem is, our present leaders are stuck in a past paradigm that is now totally obsolete.  They cannot offer any real solutions because they do not have the perception to see new solutions.

I step forward as a new leader with a new perception.  A new way of thinking and a new way of acting. I call out to my fellow evolutionaries to gather in small communities to build a new society from the ground up.   Our present economic structures are so corrupt that we must begin anew.  We must now create new structures by applying the scientific method to human action and interaction.  Our present systems are based on myth, rather than on reality.

Genetics, Physics and Ecology are scientific disciplines that have activated a call for deep systemic changes in our thinking as a global human species.  We are ripe for a quantum leap in evolution, a paradigm shift.  This paradigm shift will lead to new economic and social structures.

Genetics and Ecology now provide scientific data that clearly demonstrate that organisms and environmental systems are interconnected.  Physics shows us the relationships between atomic structures, solar systems, galaxies and the universe. Building connected communities is not a moral choice, it is simply a scientific recognition of the energy matrix of life that we are already embedded within.   We choose to build a society based on reality.

Our present political, educational and religious institutions do not reflect this scientific reality.   Our present dominant human institutions are stuck in an obsolete paradigm based on myth and superstition rather than scientific reality. This reality disconnect creates a huge mental and spiritual inner conflict in modern society. There is a reason why we have an epidemic level of depression and mental illness; we are living in a very sick system that can no longer work.  It is time to break free and live in a world based on our present best scientific perception of reality.

Our present systems do not work, because they are not based on reality. The only way to try to keep a false system in operation is by force, by coercion.  A reality based new society will grow up organically, without force and violence.  You do not have to force reality into existence.
Individuals do not exist in isolation, but in relationship. There is no life form on earth that can exist apart from the ecology that it is embedded within.   Each and every individual living entity is a unique and irreplaceable part of the whole system.  The whole system works by celebrating the role of the individual within this integrated whole.
The real world is experienced in organismic terms rather than mechanical ones, in terms of interacting processes and energy fields rather than isolated things. A functional human society must work through an extended ecological community rather than in terms of essentially separate, competing individuals. The notion of the self as ‘ independent ‘ is a delusion, an myth, an illusion that is not based in reality.

The cultural delusion of “separation” is very strong and has led many to blatantly exploit others for their sole benefit, and aggrandizement. Such a false system, either in a single business or an empire building nation must collapse, because it is not based on scientific reality.  You can only try to prop up a false system for so long before it collapses. Every empire in history has collapsed.  You cannot sustain an unsustainable system.  A sustainable system is self-sustaining.

During the last one hundred years, the powerful elites that have usurped control of the human species through force and violence have tried to prop up two equally false systems

One false system is state enforced socialism. State socialism sets out to build a “society that works for all”… a laudable intention, but with a very false methodology;  by denying individual value and trying to force free organisms to function as mindless mechanical cogs within a false, mechanistic state system.   All major attempts with this system have collapsed.

The other false system is corporate capitalism that uses the force and violence of the state to give false advantage to a corporate oligarchy through “subsidies” that are awarded to the financial elite in control. The costs of these corporate subsidies are paid by forced taxation of the majority.  All subsidy is theft and distorts real economic process.  This present dominant system uses propaganda based on “free market” terms and language, but it is not a “free market” system at all.  It is a forced system of feudal power. This false system is now collapsing with a global financial meltdown fueled by a society that is fueled by finite fuel!  Where is our intelligence?

For one hundred years, both of the false systems described above have raped the ecology of the earth to try to gain economic advantage for their respective oligarchy of controlling elites. Both false economic systems of the last one hundred years only regarded ‘nature’ as a storehouse of economic resources to be exploited.  Nature now says to us;  you have reached the natural limit. The false idea that man must dominate nature emerges directly from the domination of man by man… But it was not until organic community relations of human tribes and villages dissolved into global market relationships that the planet itself was reduced to a resource for exploitation.

A false economy not only pits humans against each other, it also pits the mass of humanity against the natural world. Just as men are converted into commodities in both of the false economic systems described above, so every aspect of nature is converted into a commodity, a resource to be manufactured and merchandised indiscriminately. The plundering of the human spirit by the market place is paralleled by the plundering of the earth by both of these false economic systems that have dominated our planet for a century.

Both of these false systems noted above have been perpetuated through  manipulation of mass perception or ‘myth’. Our present social and economic systems are based on the shifting sands of delusion and illusion.  Such myth functions as a cultural filter.  This filter determines how adherents of different perceptions perceive the environment at the present day and in the past. Through the mythical lens of recorded human history we have been taught that human experience takes place outside of nature. Nature is seen as a commodity. Other people are seen as commodities to produce profit.  This is obviously not true, so the falsehood is now collapsing.
To build a new society and economic structure where all of humanity and other living species can survive and thrive, we must first review our assumptions, our perceptions, our cultural filters. It is important that we develop a scientific ‘social ecology’ whereby we learn to exist in cooperation with each other, other species, and with the environment.  With this clear perception of reality, we will also build an ecological economic system.
When we learn to accept our interdependence and interconnectedness we will work together for our mutual benefit by protecting each other and the environment in which we live.  Reality based knowledge that replaces the dominant myths of the past will bring a new society and new economics into being through scientific understanding, not by political force and coercion. Knowledge will set us free. Science is presently providing the knowledge of a reality structure that will be the foundation of a new society and new economy. In June 2007 the United States National Human Genome Research Institute published the findings of an exhaustive four year research project, carried out by 35 groups from 80 research organizations across the world.  These findings challenged the traditional view of the way genes function. To their surprise the researchers found that the human genome might not be a tidy collection of independent genes after all, with each sequence of DNA linked to a single function. Instead, genes appear to operate in a complex network, and interact and overlap with one another and with other components in ways not yet fully understood.  Biologists have recorded these network effects for many years in other organisms. But in the world of science, discoveries do not become part of mainstream social thought until they are linked to humans. This causes us to challenge the current mainstream view of human independence and individuality and accept the interdependence and interaction of humans within complex economic and social networks.  We can now consciously build social and economic systems based on these complex networks. The science of physics is at present the most radical of all the movements in the academic disciplines. The new perceptions of physics are far-reaching, questioning the nature of scientific enquiry and indicating that it is time to ‘re-seed’ our concepts of self and others to build a new human culture on earth. It is also time to incorporate the implications of quantum physics into our notions of the physical world and how we organize our society and our economic systems.  Modern developments in Physics are questioning our present ways of interpreting the world, and the things around us, suggesting that our present perceptions are incorrect. Albert Einstein observed : “A human being is part of the whole, called by us, universe.”

In our present society we have had the false perception of our experience, thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest of the universe; we have been seeing our world through an optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.  Our present human task is to free ourselves from this perceptual prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty and awe inspiring reality. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the selfish self. We now require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive the threats of global warming, environmental collapse and violent global war.  We now face a choice; a world that works for all of us, or a world that works for none of us. Developments in physics suggest that our delusions and fantasies are not restricted to human values. Our perceptions of the external world are distorted as well. Just as many aspects of our physical reality require the theories of quantum physics to explain them, this applies also to our understanding of the social world, because human reality is not separate from the rest of the world. Although quantum theories of the Universe are difficult to understand, these theories are making it possible to think that the separation into ‘me and we’, ‘thou/I’; ‘self and others’ is intellectually suspect, and that once you conceive of bodies as particles and waves , then individual humans should be viewed as a continuum in which ‘the one’ is an aspect of ‘the many’.  This knowledge induces us to create new social and economic systems based on reality. Our new understanding of genes and DNA demonstrates that each individual is a product of all unions since the first spark of life in the universe.  We live as one unbroken chain of being that stretches in a mobius circle that connects past and future.  We live within one whole system. The ‘Quantum message’ is that it is not possible to identify ‘out there’ and ‘in here’, only states of fluidity and merging. This message indicates that any certainty of the independent, autonomous self; of the solid, independent object may be an illusion. The separation of traditional subject boundaries melt in the quantum world which has so far defied human understanding, but presents fascinating possibilities for re-thinking and re-feeling our pursuit of knowledge, culture, society and human existence. Peace activists, Conservationists and Environmentalists have long been asserting that if we continue to seek our individual gratification by consuming all the products and all the global resources, then there will be no sustainable future for our children.  We could extinguish our own genetic pool as a species.  How do you define success?   Success first requires survival. Ecology is a model for the basic metaphysical structure of the world, seeing the identities of all things- whether at the level of elementary particles, organisms, or galaxies- as logically interconnected: all things are by their relations with other things ..Applying this principle of interconnectedness to the human case, it becomes apparent that the individual denoted by ‘I’ is not constituted merely by a body or a personal ego or consciousness. I am, of course, partially constituted by these immediate physical and mental structures, but I am also constituted by my ecological relations with the elements of my environment- relations in the image of which the structures of my body and consciousness are built. I am a holistic element of my native ecosystem, and of any wider wholes under which that ecosystem is subsumed ..From the point of view of deep ecology, what is wrong with our culture is that it offers us an inaccurate conception of the self. It depicts the personal self as existing in competition with and in opposition to nature . As a species, we have thus far failed to realize that if we destroy our environment, we are destroying what is in fact our larger self. Our present global human society….with islands of wealth, surrounded by a sea of poverty is unsustainable.  This fact demands radical change.

Now, for the first time in recorded human history, society has the capacity, the knowledge and the resources to eradicate poverty.  We have the scientific understanding of the world we live in so that we can create a human society that works within the ecological reality of planet earth. We can organize the material and energy of our planet in a way that sustains life with sustainable systems.

So where do we begin to build a new ecological social organism that can operate an economic structure that supports us without destroying each other and the environment?    We can only begin at the beginning.   A human society needs several elements for basic life support;  soil, air, water and physical materials to build shelter.  If you have a few million dollars in your bank account, then you can build a sustainable ecovillage on a shared land trust plot.   If you are like most of us, that do not have access to such financial largesse, then organize your present neighborhood to plant community gardens, carpool and share resources in an efficient, energy conserving system. As you work together to organize such shared life support systems, you’ll rediscover our most important human value: each other.   Every city in the world can reorganize as sustainable, ecological structures by changing our perception of what community and wealth really means.   We can all build a low consumption/high value society in our own back yards.

Once you have a foundation of family and community, then build new sustainable business models that offer your fellow human beings the essentials for life support;  whole food, comfortable clothing and energy efficient tools, transport and shelter.  Forge alliances through small business partnerships, cooperatives or community ventures to accomplish this. What you cannot accomplish alone, you will accomplish as you work with others.   Opportunity knocks.  Open the door.

What is the real wealth in your life?   Once you have adequate food, water and shelter, all additional human value is created through love, connection, community and culture not through acquisition of temporary things.  In our present sick system, a celebrity that builds a 50,000 square foot house to prove that they are a success are only building a monument to their own spiritual poverty and deep existential emptiness.   You can lead the way to build a society based on sustainable human value. Start small, thing big and grow a new world one seed at a time.

”It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a  man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.”      Robert F. Kennedy -US Attorney General 1961-64

A Creative Model for Global Conferencing

Personal perspective of Michael Richards, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

We are in a global situation that is changing under our feet, in front of our eyes right now as we speak.
There is a rapid economic shift taking place with the skyrocketing cost of fuel that makes all travel in cars or planes more and more prohibitive.   Let’s jump ahead of the wave of change with a new paradigm, a new model of action and conferencing.

We cannot have a situation where participation in the process of “prosperity for all” can only be accessible to “the already prosperous” that can afford to travel to Austin Texas.

Let’s create a revolution of global conferencing where anyone and anyone can tap into the Visionary/Prosperity process through video/audio conferencing from anywhere in the world.  This makes this accessible to almost anyone that can find a computer to log on to or gather in an internet cafe such as Clovis in Uganda.  This can be combined with regional global on site conference centers.  Keep the cost low by keeping each regional center in a partner’s home or office and use resources that we already have rather than paying for places like the Ashram.   (For example I own an historic building that holds 75 for a conference, and I live upstairs.)  By keeping conference costs low we can have particpation costs low.

We need a “high-tech-high touch hybrid”.  People still need full human connection in addition to technology because huge amounts of real human communication take place through eye contact, facial expression, body language and non-verbal cues, emotion, appropriate touch, etc. etc. etc.   We can have Prosperity for all Conferences take place at many ”on site nodes” where people gather in person for total and deep human connection, and then we all connect up through internet video conferencing.

Right now we can set up many such “on-site conference nodes” for maximum conference impact:

1. The dynamic Austin Vision Force Team
2. Those hard working, midwest work-ethic Iowa guys, John Morris and Michael Richards
3. Alexandra in the Atlanta/Georgia region
4. The wild man, freedom activist, visionaries’ visionary O.T. in Colorado
5.  Darry at the New York/Canada border
6.  Nancy in the Virginia/Washington D.C area
7.  Clovis and his cohorts in Uganda
8.  Catherine in Europe
9.  Florentine in Oregon

We already have an incredible national and global infrastructure!
Bring in a few more Visionforce allies not listed above and we can rock the world.

Idealism in a Virtual World Community

Personal perspective of Darry, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

    Everything starts with an idea.
I am reminded of a book written by Albert Schweitzer reflecting on his youth.
To paraphrase, he said, life tries to rob us of our ideals.  Our purpose, our whole life through is to remember what we saw when we were children.
That when, what we saw in the innocence of our childhood, is not being realized in the world means simply that I am not internally prepared enough, that I have not yet enough love.
He also said that ideals are like drops of water.  You may not see much power in a drop of water but let it get into even a small crack in a rock and freeze and it can open up even a big rock.  So, it is with ideals.
So, what our goal is, our whole life through is to never get used up, to never forget or lose the vision of our childhood.
This great stand for Prosperity for All is of paramount importance to me and this opportunity to participate with others all around the world is such a wonderful blessing.
It is an inquiry worth my time and I am standing for a new distinciton to awaken in all of us.  How can we be fully in each other’s worlds?  How can we always remember that the baseline motivation that works always has been and always will be love?
When we get it, really get it, that doing good for others is the way to prosperity, then that is when we will ignite a fire that will not go out.

Building Prosperity for All starts in our own Backyard, in our own Neighborhood

Personal perspective of Michael Richards, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

Greetings, Prosperity Allies;

I thought I’d share with you some of our recent “grassroots” prosperity work in my own neighborhood.
We only change our world one home at time, one neighborhood at a time.  If each and everyone of us do that, then the whole world is tranformed.   This grassroots community approach makes a huge goal such as prosperity for the entire planet possible.

For one hundred years, the Oakhill Jackson neighborhood where I live and work has been the lowest income area of our City.   This historic fact demonstrates the “systemic” nature of poverty, since this economic status has persisted for 100 years.

Just as the poverty problem is “systemic”, the prosperity solution is “systemic”… we are creating new systems for economic self sufficiency by building “sustainable new systems” from the ground up
People can take control of their own lives and create their own prosperity by taking personal responsibility for building their own sustainable life support systems.  You can either act like a victim and wait for the government or a charity to “save you”, or you can take the bull by the horns and work with family and neighbors to create community solutions.  Start Community Gardens, Local Food Co-ops and Creative Entrepreneurial Ventures to produce the goods and services that your community needs to prosper and grow.
Bootstrap it!  Start with a few seeds, a few neighbors and start working from the ground up!   You will be amazed at what you can build after many years of consistent community effort.
When our ancestors landed in North America, there was no one to make it work but your family and the few neighbors around you.  None of them had anything close to the resources of even the poorest people in the USA today, but they had the courage to plant a few crops and build up their community one step at a time.  This independent work ethic lead to the most prosperous nation on earth.    That, my friends is the real American Dream!  To gather family and friends and get to work!    By calling on that same creative, hard working spriit, we will now create the “American Dream” as a “World Dream”, where everyone has what they need to first survive and then thrive.
None of us can create prosperity alone.    All of us can create prospertity for all of us by working with allies in a strong community.

You can tune it to what we’re doing in our neighbohood at this link;

PODCAST: The Man Behind the Movement

Personal perspective of Michael Skye, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

Clarence Carter is the Director of the District of Columbia Dept. of Human Services, and the man to whom the spark for Prosperity for All 2008 event can be traced. The work he championed while Director of the Office of Community Services at the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services in 2003-2005 brought Nancy Polend face to face with her life’s purpose and vision: engaging humanity to create prosperity for all. This led her to launch Prosperous Communities, Prosperous Nation at the Future Search Network. From there, her path led to VisionForce, and this event was born.

Hear these two visionary leaders discuss the evolution of the revolution that could very well be on its way! Then, join us in Austin, TX June 10-15 by applying here.

Here’s How I See It

Personal perspective of Darry, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

Here's how I see it! Click here to watch my video about Prosperity For All.
    Hey Team,
Wow! I’ve been particpating with VisionForce now for several years and we have taken on initiative after initiative. We’ve dialogued and debated, discussed and cussed. Yet, I keep coming back to this work. I can’t even quit when I want to!
I am recognizing in myself and seeing it reflected in the posts here that each of us is doing the work to create the foundation for this event.
I’m taking on a project to care for my aging parents and am determined to keep them out of a nursing home. That’s taking a lot of my time and energy. I’ve been redesigning their home so that they can live on one floor. Mom can’t climb the stairs anymore so I had to put a bathroom with a walk in shower on the first floor and rearrange 60 years worth of stuff and move their bedroom downstairs. I’ve been a pain in the ass to all my siblings by enrolling their help.
In the meantime I’ve got some big financial challenges this year and between paying attention to that and my parents, how in the hell do I have time to do all this Prosperity For All work? I should be working more and making more money.
But, what the hell - this IS the challenge after all. I demand that I create a way to be financially prosperous while I stand for a World that Works for Everyone. This IS the work we are all doing.
So, that’s the work that I’ve been doing and I’m wondering if that’s not the same for each one of us - not only on this team - but in the world - and I’m wondering what ways of thinking that I have keep the context of lack of prosperity present in the world.
In the face of all of this I’m recognizing that I doubt myself. That is my weakest point. When I doubt myself then I need to take more time, I need to prepare more, I need to get it right. Funny part about all of that is that I will never ever get it right enough.
So, as part of my personal development inside of this work I am taking on getting a lot of things done in a short time. I’m going to connect with my heart and just jump in and dance.
I invite each one of you to look at what there is available to you in your own personal breakthrough. What areas of your context in life are being challenged by this event?
I am truly moved by who each one of you has been through all the posts I have been reading.
And, finally, I want to encourage all of us to have faith. If we stand for something to be, it’s like planting a seed in the ground. All the work of root development happens under the ground. If we keep watering it and sunning it then it will come out of the ground and, if the roots are solid, the plant will grow quickly.
I’m intuitive by nature and I have such a strong sense that this event is going to rock so totally beyond what any one of us can currently imagine. I know this by the degree of intensity by which I have been internally confronted since we took this on.
I am proud to be playing with each one of you!
    Darry

A Special Message From Clovis

Personal perspective of John Morris, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

This is a special message from Clovis from when we raised money using a Chipin tool, like the one below, to buy computers for his Vision Cafe in Uganda, where he teaches students about vision, leadership and entrepreneurship under his ngo, Vision Force Uganda. Now, Clovis and his good friend and visionary musician, Medi, are raising the funds to get on a big jet plane and travel the world to attend Prosperity For All 2008 on scholarship!

Will you contribute $2, $20 or $200 to these young visionaries and their bold ambitions (below)? The funds go for their plane tickets, room and board while in the U.S., and other incidentals needed for their journey. Contributions of $200 will get you a Vision Force 100 download (14+ hours of MP3 trainings in the VisionForce methods). Thank you so much on behalf of Clovis and Medi. A wonderful article on the evolution of Money

Personal perspective of Shawn Madden, a partner standing for prosperity for all.

Here’s an excerpt from http://realitysandwich.com/money_a_new_beginning_part_2:

Imagine a life where you simply focus on your art, on your gifts, on being of service, in the serene knowledge that your needs will automatically be fulfilled as a matter of course–such an economy is possible. In it, competition is reduced to its proper domain: a yearning for excellence in all that we do. In it, productive work comes from a desire to create a more beautiful world, not to own it; to live and not just survive. We all know in our hearts such an economy is possible. We know it in our dreams, those we deny because we have to “make a living”. Life becomes a grim business, a struggle. The Age of Usury presents us with an ineluctable pressure that we can resist but never escape: to make a living is to deny art, purpose, and beauty.
